Important Meeting Dates2024 Board Meetings Zoom Board Meetings: January 9, March 12, May 14, July 9, and September 17 Annual Meeting in person: November 12 All are welcome! Please email [email protected] if you are interested in joining the meeting on zoom. Our next book sale will be in Spring. We hope to see you there! Our donations bins are now open. Thank you for your donations! The Friends of the Almaden Library request donations of gently used books and sells them to raise money for the library. Since the new library opened, the Friends have held two used book sales each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. There is also a display of books and media items in the Lobby Sale Area, near The Oasis Cafe, for sale at all times that the building is open. Sales here are on the honor system at the same low rates as during the large book sales. Customers shop here so frequently that annual profits from this Lobby Sale Area are now exceeding those at the two large book sales. |
The purpose of this organization shall be to maintain an association of persons committed to the support of the Almaden Library (the "Library"); to organize and implement fundraising activities for the express purpose of providing financial support to the Library; to advocate for and focus public attention on public library services, facilities, needs, and to encourage donors to support these programs.
